Just hit my 50 year golf anniversary of not getting a hole in one ! I regularly play with a 91 year old and he got two last year Guess it is down to luck, as I have played to a reasonably good standard and the odds are about 12,500 to one. Back to the drawing board !

Also had a hole in one, around 155yds short par 3. I was well chuffed and my mate was similarly. Three weeks later he goes and gets one. Couldn't live off that one for very long!

My washing powder giving measurements in ml. To help it also says 100ml = 65g. What an utterly infuriating and stupid way to provide usage amounts. Clearly designed like this so we use as much as we can.

Don't you get a scoop thing with it with the measurements marked on the side?

Maybe if the council were a bit more helpful, people would be less inclined to dump them. Ours has been sat on the drive since the 2nd, and won't be collected until next week.

Maybe I am missing something here but why don't you just put your christmas tree out next week when it is going to be collected as you clearly know the collection date and details? Our collection date is a Wednesday (for both recycling and rubbish) which was New Year's Day this year. People still put their crap out for collection on the Tuesday night, did people seriously expect it to be collected on New Year's day?

I don't think councils have a statutory requirement to collect Christmas trees when its convenient that people want rid, never really understand why people seem ab;le to get them to the house by themselves but unable to take them to the tip afterwards?
