This should really be in the other thread as I found it quite amusing

But the fact the guy could get into trouble over what was clearly a 'light-hearted jape' is ridiculous.

Nigel Cloughs whinging and this papers acceptance that the silky football skills of sheffield united are affected by the terrible rough and tumble and sitting and parking the bus teams in league 1.

Elsewhere, his players take the view that, "if you can't beat 'em by playing football, kick lumps out of 'em":

Of course this is not the same Sheffield United side that for years played the long ball game under managers like Dave Bassett and Neil Warnock...

And hopefully we'll give them another one in 10 days time.

That bit of skill by Kasim, which took out two of their defenders leading up to our 5th goal, is one of my highlights of the season.

Big Bad Barry, a Cory that my eldest decided to name (thanks Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom!) has been MIA for about 2 weeks. Luckily he's not noticed Barry is missing but that'll be a fun talk if he does!

Also her new fish have to be fed frozen minced beef heart and freeze dried bloodworms. Gormet fish food.

Watching the supposedly great and good of this country falling over themselves to mourn a brutal despot whose regime is probably the biggest financier of the Islamic terror organisations we're supposedly fighting against.

I just don't get why the House of Saud has even a shred of western support. Is our arms industry that fucking important?

But is it something you don't understand?  Imagine the chaos,  if the House of Saud fell...it would make Iraq/Syria look like the teddy bear's picnic.

Flying a few flags at half mast and sending Cameron and some of his royal relos out to Riyadh...seems worth doing however hypocritical.

I for one am ashamed of our dirty league one antics.

I understand why Western governments aren't actively trying to overthrow them but not why that necessitates the brown nosing. Surely the Saudis aren't fooled by that kind of thing and realise they are an ally of convenience at best

That tends to be the nature of all international relationships...
