Being stuck behind a tractor from Silbury hill to the M4 Junction at the GWH this morning on the way to the match. Fucker didn't even try and pull over to let people past.
Were you going via Marlborough, or the 4361?

As I understand it, Mr Agombar mixes in circles where one might meet an interesting and varied mix of acquaintances and may well have some big shots from London interested. And some in these circles might well be described as business people, in much the same way that people in the States used to talk about "business people with a shared interest in Italian American culture".
So the scary thing about this is not that it's yet more bullshit, but that it might be true.

My questions are...... Where the hell was he going? Surely a tractor is only going to top field or market? Why were you going that way from Silbury hill if you were going to the match?

Malborough. My questions are...... Where the hell was he going? Surely a tractor is only going to top field or market?
I kept thinking to myself "it's fine, he'll turn off soon" but nope. All the way to Chiseldon. Why were you going that way from Silbury hill if you were going to the match?
Trying out a different route to my usual, and I had to drop someone off at Bishops Canning on the way. I should have gone up through Wroughton in hindsight.

I'll make this press conference short. Malborough.
Malborough, is in South Devon, I know this because I once had a leaking radiator or was it a hose, when down in Salcombe, and the nearest garage to do the work, was in Malborough. More seriously though, you could have turned off the 346 at Ogbourne St George, and taken the back road to Chiseldon.

Oh I know this NOW, but as I'm still getting to know the backroads and I was late anyway I didn't want to risk getting completely and utterly lost.
