Out of interest how are you voting Jan? I presume yes?
He hasn't got a vote. He's a plastic jock.

Ben Fogel, Eddie Izzard et al can gtf though. Horrible to think that so many people in the uk listen to these kind of people. Almost as bad as the amount of Americans who take Fox News as gospel.
While I also hate the cult of 'celebrity' that has taken hold, I think it's a mark of just how bitter and inward-looking the independence debate has become that such a contemptuous response has been elicited from 200 well known people from England & Wales asking their near neighbours to stay within the UK. We get it...I'm sure that David Attenborough and Sting probably haven't spent weeks & months, like Scottish people have, contemplating Westminster voting records and poverty levels in the East End of Glasgow. They were just offering a hand of friendship, for fuck's sake. Get over yourselves. I really don't like what's going on in Scotland at the moment. It's ugly. The vote will fall somewhere in the 60:40 - 40:60 range so, regardless of which way it goes, there are going to be millions of disappointed and dejected people on Sep 19th. The divisions that are now being created will take years to heal.

When the alternative is Cameron, Milliband or Clegg, I imagine Salmond doesn't look so bad.
And there in a nutshell is the problem. The Yes campaign would never have got off the ground this time round without the posh southern Tory boys running things. It's like suicide: a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

I take it that goes for the Yes Campaign as well who also have the backing of some Scottish celebrities? (I didn't recognise who they are mind)
Am I correct in saying that Scotland are going to be the first nation NOT to vote for independence when given the opportunity?
Montenegro rejected independence 1992 and opt to stay with Yugoslavia, though the fairness of the poll was called into question.

I'm a simple man. This is what I think on yes vote: - Fine, so long as we can stop paying a single penny to Scotland. They already get too much thanks to the Barnett formula. - Withdraw the pound and let them found their own fucking monetary system.
Otherwise I don't really care.

It's a divisive issue I know, but in a world where people should be grouping together into larger and larger societies to combat the issues of both now and the future, Scottish independence seems a bit of a selfish and out-dated concept based more on the wet dreams of Bannockburn enthusiasts than anything else.
Bigger picture.

Being stuck behind a tractor from Silbury hill to the M4 Junction at the GWH this morning on the way to the match. Fucker didn't even try and pull over to let people past.

I can't believe that there wasn't a chance to get past between Beckhampton and Swindon. You're clearly a fuckwit.

Feeling's mutual DMR. When you're the nteenth car behind and there's stuff coming the other way on the straights, I can assure you, there is not.
