Trivial things you don't understand/mildly annoy you

Shopping in Waitrose at granny hour.

Going back to my inventions thread....I wish to invent/propose a shop, only for people

 - aged 65 or below (sorry reg)
 - who know exactly what they want
 - walk at a speed of 5mph or higher

anyone found walking less than 5mph, or dithering, will be poked by security guards armed with cattle prods.
The number of security guards and the voltage of the prods will both be doubled during the festive period.

Add to that the people (women) who spend 5 minutes in a queue at the supermarket, and then only when the cashier tells them their total do they consider that they need to find some form of payment. Its normally at the bottom of a cluttered hand bag, or they fanny about over which card to use, meaning we have to wait even longer for the fuckwit to get out of the way.

I've recently started asking about my course mates school backgrounds. So far I've found one (1) other person who did not go to either a grammar school (roughly 30%) or a private school (almost 70%). If I mention that I'm from Swindon I generally get a look like I've told them I was abused as a child.

It's enough to make me man the barricades.

Where are you studying Nemo? I had something similar. "A state school?!" Goodness knows what sort of look I'd have got if (a) I told them I went to school in Calne and (b) they had any idea about Calne!

Me and the mrs had to pay for our IVF treatment due to a cunting postcode lottery, never had to use the NHS before and the one time we want to use it we cant.

Have been looking through old pictures of swindon on the librarys flickr page, its shocking seeing what used to stand in the town and what its been replaced with.

Swindon could look so much better than it does.

Far too many useless scrotes doing useless degrees. It should be the richest 25% only who go to university and get a degree.

Clearly fishing, but why the richest? I'd agree if you say 25% most intelligent or whatever but I'm far better than half the over privileged idiots doing my course who are only there because daddy paid for private tutoring and have half as much common sense as your average bedsheet.

It's the same at Bristol too, there's only one other person i know who went to state school and he's from oop north. The majority are fine but there's a lot of people with their head wedged up their arse and who for some reason think they're superior to everyone else.

I also agree that there are too many pointless degrees, many would be better trying to get an apprenticeship, although there aren't many around.
