it should at least kill off those degree courses that serve no useful purpose after qualification.
That's pretty subjective though. For example, Basket weaving would be on both our lists but I'd also kill off English Literature which as far as I can see only provides training in over analysis and results in a PGCE or a McJob post graduation. But I have a feeling that view is controversial. There is a wider point of Blair's 'degree for all' approach devaluing the worth of a degree, but I think that could best be served on another thread.

Still waiting for Yodel.
Their very helpful website says not to phone them if the parcel is showing as out for delivery today.

You couldn't kill that off, you'd be in trouble with the Rafia.

Finding out my job is being moved from the team I'm in - a small team with a good manager who work well together - to a team managed by an idiot with some of the most unprofessional people I have ever come across.
Still - its better than the job disappearing.

I'm doing a pointless degree at a shit uni because i want to do it and it interests me, not because it'll get me anywhere (because it almost definitely won't). It's stupid in most ways but meh, it beats working.

How old is your missus? Either old enough to know much, much better than to contract Bieber fever, or far too young to... Either way - not good.

Well, yodel finally arrived, with just half the delivery.
"We'll bring the other half out tomorrow", says the driver.
"Not very convenient", says I. "Can you be specific about the time it will come as it is your fault?"
"Any time between 8 and 6" says he.
CUNTS.

Wow, you did well to narrow him down. Normally it is until 9pm.

Unless he just lied. These companies have done that to us before. "I'm sorry sir, our records show we tried to deliver it yesterday". No you didn't. My wife was in all day - in fact she took the day off to make sure we got it.
