Let me guess, that's one where they did the destruction test? Always thought that was a lottery if the things work or not.
I have to confess to discovering the memory stick still works fine, but the "reliable Mac" refuses to acknowledge it's presence! It works fine in Windows and everything else, but the Mac refuses to see it's even plugged in, strange one really, because there's nothing wrong with the Mac - I have 2 other memory sticks and 3 external drives all of which work and get removed many times daily. |

The plot thinkens - it's not a Mac thing after all. Me saying "everything else" meant only Win XP on further attempts to use it. Disk Utility doesn't see it on the Mac, it doesn't show in Linux and neither does it in Win 7, or within it's disk management. Oh and the PS3 can see it?! Weird. It's Fat 32 for the record.

Copy the data from the drive when in XP and format it again as FAT32?
