Getting a new phone for wife at xmas...after about 3hrs research realised there are about 89 million types of phones, and about the same number of contracts...e.g. virtually impossible to make a decision and very stressful.
As soon as I choose one or other, some wise guy says, "ah but did you know that phone only has a 3.2 Mega pixel camera",
or
"ah, but did you know that '3' give you 400 texts and '120' mins" for the same price.
Aahhhh....fuck, my head is exploding....give me a fooking break.

Or just buy her saucepans and a new ironing board like any self-respecting man who hasn't yet been feminised by the one who rules the roost.

You're too soft. An ironing board cover and a years subscription to Slimmers World would do better.

I actually did buy my Mrs saucepans one Christmas. In fairness she said she wanted them.

The new Christmas ad on the BBC for the BBC, to the tune of 'Consider Yourself'.  I've seen it three times now,and each time it gets more irritating.  Look out for Kevin Bridges doing a brief cameo at the back for a few seconds, clearly thinking to himself 'What the fuck am I doing here?'

Not quite the same thing, but I have a knee injury that won't go away and strained my calf 3 times in 10 weeks (resting longer this time).  I was up to 3 miles, was thinking about doing a "fun" half marathon. Very frustrating.

But I'm old. What's your excuse?!

You have to rest.  No two ways about it.  Very, very frustrating...you have my sympathies.
