They all seem to miss the year 1982 also for some reason

Funny you mention that as they have a massive timeline on the ceiling of their new concourse which they include their first formation and their Anglo-Scottish Cup win but not 1982....

Moved into a new house yesterday, to say I'm disappointed with the state of the place is an understatement. The inventory, which I've been emailed with no 'You need to sign this and send it back' instructions, is a rather hopeful take on the truth. Nothing majorly wrong, it's liveable in, but lots of niggly issues and problems are a pain in the arse to be honest. Already sent off an email to several of the letting agency staff, I'll see what their response is in the morning.

Make sure you write everything down on the inventory and take photos too. Whether anything gets done will depend on the landlord, and whether someone has done inferior work between tenancies i.e. they can be called back. Either way, make sure you don't end up paying for it when you leave!

Boycott All Hallows' Eve. Go to the football instead.

Here's an STFC XI, that would grace the game.

                                                                   Skiller
                                                 Boggie, Broomes, Casper, Skull
                                                      Batty, Ephgrave, Butcher
                                                          Toombs, Wolfe, Musgrave.

Subs: Webb, Wildman, Bain, Payne, Pearce

                                             Manager: John Gorman

I'll look into it. There'd be a couple of slices of parkin at least for grub.

Yea, have been. Will be printing out the inventory, then going through the house marking all the issues.

#1 The fuss about the Sistine Chapel.

The Vatican is pretty luxurious and decadent. And all the way round I knew we'd end in the Sistine Chapel. When I got there I didn't really realise. Small and didn't really stand out from all the other stuff. Its old I suppose, but any of the other artists could have painted it and I wouldn't have known. Meh. The gold ceiling bit and St Peters were far more impressive.

#2 Those poor sods that have me as a friend on facebook will have seen the gazillion Rome photos last month. Apologies. It was for the wife and kids who I left at home. Backfire. I'm going again with Mrs "I'm fine with you going with your mates" Batch.

Pope  I reckon we should have a Reformation. M Luther

31st Oct is the 500th anniversary of Luther affixing his ideas to the Wittenberg door.

Not often we get a chance for a quincentenary of a history changing event... Norn Iron and Scotland should be interesting  Hmmm

I went to the Vatican in late November and it was very quiet as in do the circuit twice with ease quiet. I thought the Sistine Chapel was great. A combination of quietness and the audio guide probably helped.

It was fun watching the security guys trying to stop photographs.
