On the subject of better halves, wife is a hormonal bitch at the moment. She wanted me to move some stuff downstairs yesterday (that we're chucking out) - I say ok, I'll do it in a bit. "Why can't you do it now?". FFS I only wanted 15 minutes to sit down. So she goes about crashing and bashing upstairs - when I go back to offer my help she tells me to piss off!
I suppose I should count my blessings - in 8 months this is the worst she's been.

Stubbed my fucking toe, again. Christ it hurts, I think I may have actually broken it. It's actually making me feel a bit ill.
I'm not generally a clumsy person but for whatever reason my coordination abandons me when it comes to walking barefooted past solid objects. Why it happens so often I don't just know, you'd think that "Just don't fucking do it" should be clear enough, but oh no. I even manage to pick up some velocity beforehand sometimes. I couldn't be a sportsperson, I'd be forever having to pull out of events because I kicked the fucking sofa the night before.

Speaking of witnesses, apparently less than 1% of the population are "super recognisers" of faces. I haven't had an official test, but a psychologist researching it has put up a test online and wants people who score over 10 to get in touch for further research (I scored 11.)
