Being woken up by my neighbour's ecstatic moans at 5.30 this morning. It was either a loud, vigorous wank or they were having sex. Either way, 5.30 am on a Saturday? Really?
7.30 this morning. This better not be a trend.

They must get better viewing figures for a Sunday, than say today. Dunno why they don't play Sunday every year.

Because (according to Tim Henman who was on the radio talking about it yesterday), when they play a full first week, they use the Sunday to give the courts time to recover. By the same token, because they've not been able to play so many matches in the 1st week this year, hence the need to catch up, also the courts haven't taken so much wear and tear. Whereas if they always played straight through, they'd risk the courts being knackered by middle of the second week apparently. Seemed to make sense tbf

I'm going today. Decent line-up with Federer, Venus Williams and then Murray on Centre Court. Managed to score heavily discounted members tickets so will be hob-nobbing. (can you take biscuits into Wimbledon?)

Wasn't centre court but court 1 as it happened. Very rarely watch tennis on tv but it's a million times better live as with most sports.
