Leeds, Colchester and Milwall all away. If we get 2nd place we really will have deserved it!

Excellent result from Hartlepools and around the league today, couldn't have hoped for anymore really.

Another brilliant performance from Lecs by the sound of it..could he keep Cuthbert out of the team against Leeds..?

We've got to go to Leeds and just get stuck right into them from the start with nothing to fear. They're going to be shitting it. If we don't get second place so what? If they don't get second place it will be worse than a thousand Hiroshimas.
If we go ahead, they'll be right on their players backs. If we win, it'll be Armageddon. Come on! Can't wait.

No, LJF will have to play left back as Sheehan cant play.

"With twenty minutes on the clock, Pools' fortunes took two big knocks - firstly the lively and determined Andy Monkhouse was injured in a collision with a photographer on the touchline.

The former Swindon Town man suffered a cut to his knee which then forced him from out of the game.

Just minutes after the incident involving Monkhouse, Pools went a goal down as Charlie Austin struck home.

And there was more poor defending to blame as Austin was allowed far too much space inside the area to pick his spot and shoot low past Flinders."

The best thing about next weeks game, is that we have nothing to lose, we were never ever expecxted to challenge for an automatic play off place, all the pressure is on them!

Wouldn't want to drop him, or move him back to left back, although if Sheehan can't play v Leeds, we might see just that happen.
