I'm pleased that we're getting Austin, but let's put it in context. There seem to be about fifteen strikers in the Wessex League who have a goal a game ratio. http://full-time.thefa.com/StatLeaders.do?divisionseason=796030&league=274386
So either it's a secret academy for world class strikers, or the standard is a bit crap. Once, playing on the Polo Ground after school, I scored 15 goals before it got dark and I had to go home go for my tea. I offered my services to STFC for a signing-on fee of just £50k, but they turned me down. They said on the internet it was because the board showed no ambition.

When we signed Walcott, hadn't he scored something stupid like 100 goals in one season as a tacker?

Looks like that Russell Cook has scored the same amount of goals in less games...

I was a central defender but I scored a hat-trick for Warminster Boys in our 23-0 win against Salisbury "B" in the cup ... I was substituted at half-time, livid.
I'm now playing for Arsenal under the pseudonym Thomas Vermaelen.

We've got quite a tidy record against Poole Town.
15/11/1902: Swindon Town 9-0 Poole Town 31/10/1903: Swindon Town 7-1 Poole Town

Phil Smith hasn't been a disaster, he's the best of a pretty mediocre bunch for the best part of 20 years!

I'd be offended if he didn't. Also, we have our entrance music now
