If anyone read my posting on the last Austin story I said I bet everyone £1 that this deal will break down becuase AF is involved and he'll cry about how life's unfair blah blah blah they wanted too much. We're so tight we can't even offer enough to get a non-league player. AF...what a foolish man if clubs didn't spend money on players you wouldn't have money in the bank from Cox...... you're all erady to take the cash for players and expect a reasonable fee but not to spend a reasonable fee when buying.... If Charlie is eager to play for us (which I hope and have heard that he is) then I am sure he will persuade the Chairman of Poole to accept our bid.
After all he can refuse to play for them again if he feels he wants to leave.
The ball is in their court, but it does seem like greed on the part of the Poole chairman to me.
