Apparently our offer of Kasali Yinka Casal and a bag of footballs was considered insufficient.

I knew Fitton should have left the Double Lollies in as a sweetener!

Good news!

not for Charlie is it? poor lad is desperate to prove himself yet because STFC and Poole can't come up with a deal which both parties are happy about he's stuck in non league football

If he's decent enough for both Bormuff and STFC to be interested I suspect another club of similar standing like Yeovil or Exeter might come in.

Well I agree with that, of course it's sad for Charlie, and he certainly deserves the chance. I could have deffo seen him in the first team in January as Town need someone who can stick it in the back of the net judging by the current goal difference and it doesn't look like it's going to improve quickly, believe me he is more than capable.
Guess Swindon just want to get him on the cheap

Just hope in the meantime AFCB don't have their embargo lifted

I got the impression from the Poole FC forum that they thought he was worth £50k plus, along with add ons and a friendly - they were comparing him to players from the top two tiers of non league going to league clubs for £100k plus add ons.

Unfortunately the reality is somewhat different as they are way down the pyramid, they are at the same level as Fairford, Highworth and Shrivenham. Not sure that scoring a lot of goals at that level means much and it definitely doesn't mean one of their players is worth anything like they seem to be asking for.

I reckon £10k up front and say another £40k in add ons max if he makes the 1st team would be fair.

Or Poole have a totally unrealistic valuation.
