They’ve not spent time at the same club, but appear to know each other….

They have they were both at Mansfield in 2014-15

I have heard that Bournemouth are keeping a close eye on Joel McGregor. His injury situation has set back any official move and the situation is under review.

Also circulating is that due to IH being back in football and at SN1 we are likely to be seen on the TV more this season than could normally expected.

From his STFC website interview, from the Wycombe comments and the clip of him with Palmer/at Man City, Taff seems a charismatic but also mature guy to have in the dressing room.  That's a start.

Perhaps he'll turn out to be the leader on the pitch some of our other defenders need. Big "if" but if we do have the bit of luck to get him on it regularly, he may turn out to be a very big signing indeed.

If Bristol Rovers are going in for Cotterill, I wouldn't mind us getting in there first. He may not be the full package, but he would add more bite than we have and he developed over the course of the season.

I think we are missing a runner like him in midfield.

Be interesting to see if there is any further movement on Monday.

Delaney out on a perm & Tabor out on loan seem the obvious moves. Plus McCormick out on loan once he recovers from injury.

That would only leave us with the 18 who featured today, Kirkman & Tafazolli. Plus Ball to return in a couple of months. Assuming Smith & Minturn don't play again this season.

Just feels light to me, especially once you take into account further injuries/bans etc. Wouldn't be surprised to see one more in on loan.

How many loan spots do we have left? Id like to see a RWB and a LW

Tabor to a NLS side seems sensible.

Hard to know what is best for Tabor from the outside atm, he could be really benefitting from full time coaching for the first time in his career.

If we could get somewhere close by so he could still train with us then get game time elsewhere it could suit all parties.

Could be best for him being involved all week with games like Reading on Tuesday there to help him along.

Isn’t Harry Parsons out for an extended period at Chippenham, maybe Tabor could go there as a replacement for a short period

You can have up to 8 loan players at any 1 time but only 5 can be in a matchday 18, I think we have room left Wink

This makes sense. Means he can still train with us full time and also get regular game time.

OK... National League North.... several levels above where he's played previously, good coach in Caddis (I assume he's still there)...

Would have been nice to see if he played any part against Reading.
