Morshead also confirms he isn't in control of when the club announce transfers as well, ha!

I've no particular issues with Tafazioli - if Delaney wants away / IH won't play him, then an experienced CB is needed given Ball / Clarke's propensity to pick up injuries.

I'm not particularly enthused by the signing of Palmer - as I recall he is quite slow, and suggests IH wants to revert to the hoofball again.

I'd have preferred a decent midfield player with the part of the Ameen money being used on Palmer.

3 year deal with an option for 2 further years, good luck to him - just hope his advisors have made the right decisions for him.

I think the Smith injury is a good reminder that footballers should pretty much always strike while their metaphorical iron is hot for their careers, as much as it pains fans. For every player who stays another year and gets a better move there will be more who get injured or lose form - a few years back Minturn had serious interest from Middlesbrough, since then he's barely played a game for two years.

I thought the Minturn stuff was just confusion our end. & that the intended target was Harley Hunt. Who they obviously ended up getting.

Think he played in a League Cup game for ‘boro.

Hasn’t been loaned out - which kinda gives off the impression he can’t be that far off.

He's played just one League Cup game against Stoke. They lost 5-0. That was just over a year ago. Almost to the day.

To be fair Hunt is only just 18 now so not much of a surprise he's not been near the first team.

Pretty sure he was injured for the majority of last season.

Minturn was the original target, and a move wasn’t far off for the summer then he got injured in a Tuesday night game.
