Pfft, we shouldn't take any criticism from Liverpool of all teams for paying good money for dodgy keepers ...
Too right, but mention that to my bro-in-law and you get an hour’s rant on the ‘keepers in the good old days’. Esp since Tommy Lawrence’s sad demise.

Well done for comparing apples and oranges again
But apples and oranges are similar, insofar as their original genomes, have Asiatic ancestry, but the current varieties we see are a result of human activity in cross fertilisation. Interestingly the humble orange doesn't occur naturally, neither does the lemon. There are 4 naturally occurring citrus fruits.... the citron, pummelo, mandarine, and papeda. It is thought the Chinese, created the orange. Original apples came from Kazahkstan, and again were cross fertilised to create present varieties.

No matter what anybody thinks about Flitcroft or this player or that, now is the time for us, the fans, to just get behind the team and give full support.
We are right in it now and could make the difference on occasion behind a getting a point or three.
I'm going to boo at iFollow every match just out of petulance.

Bit of an olive branch from Flitcroft?

Maybe both have realised that "I've got the biggest bollocks" approach isn't the most (ahem) productive way to be going on. Maybe Power has had a word with DF saying, look get him playing as he is an asset. We can't sell him if he's not anywhere near the squad. I'm all for him working hard to get his place back, but I don't want him unsettling any momentum we seem to be building. Maybe Vigs (and DF in part) will have to take the rest of this season on the chin? A lot of "maybe" in that!

How many managers have we had that can't deal with him? All different characters, all the same issues. I think it's time to face it. The managers aren't the problem....
If you piss off three consecutive managers in L1 and L2 by being a prick, the chances are you're a prick, as opposed to you just needing someone who can manage you.
The sooner he goes the better. He'll either sort himself out and have a half-decent career or he'll continue to be a prick and not have a career.
Sounds like Nile Ranger mk2.

Apparently Brophy played 72 games for us, is he the worst player to ever play 50+ games for Town? Can’t be many worst that have played as much?

Drysdale and Peach spring to mind. Both left backs coincidentally.

I think we'll soon see Dunne become one of the worst players to play 50+ matches for Town. It's quite an effort from they guy. I wish I could act as well as him...

Good god, with a bit of research I could name an entire 11. David Peach, Gary Emmanuel, Roy Greenwood, Gareth Hall, Bobby Howe, Shaun Close, Brad Barry, Anton Rodgers, BOO, Brian Hughes, Blair Sturrock, Eric Sabin, Michael Pook, David Duke, Kevin Baddeley all made over 50 appearances. Jeez, Matt Hewlett even made 200 apps! Trickier finding a keeper who keeps the shirt for over 50 games, since they practically never include substitute apps - harsh, but maybe a toss-up between Phil Smith and Scott Endersby.
