Unless I have forgotten some players. I think the young lad Evans is a RB as well perhaps.
Evans is a left sided midfielder isn't he?

Can't imagine that ever entered Flitcroft's mind when signing him - or was even aware. I spit on our rivals like most, but his previous is a long time ago as Reg says.
Vale fans say he is surprisingly technical and good going forward but slow and prone to fannying around at the back. Seen enough of that, thank you.
Ticks another box for Town fans, got to have a scapegoat we can blame everything on....

So that's Dunne, Robertson, Mullin, Purkiss, Lancashire. I reckon another 8 or 9 and we'll be good to go. What's Matt Derbyshire up to he's only 31.

So from memory we have in the Gk and defensive positions:
GK - Vigs CB - Lancashire, Robertson, Conroy, (Thomas) LB - Brophy RB - Purkiss
Getting there for sure. Pretty experienced heads there also.
Brophy wont play LB, he's naturally a winger thats been played out of position so id be surprised if a new LB didnt come in..

He's naturally someone who should pay £25 to sit in the stands but has been allowed on the pitch! Fully expect a LB in a similar mold to recent signings to be brought in. Do we know Flitcrofts preferred set up? I assume 4 at the back.

We not signed anyone yet today? WTF is going on!
Re. Brophy - with the right coaching and played in the right position and system he can be a key player for us.

I'm going to make a rather bold prediction and say that Brophy will be one of our best players next season...

He will need to be free of any defensive duties and his decision making will need to improve drastically. There's something there and he can change a game but defensively as much use as a statue.

Probably 2 of the ones that Flitcroft said they'd hoped to sign but missed out.

Etuhu might have been decent but not fussed by missing out on Hallam Hope at all (if we did).

Yeah, Etuhu I thought could have filled the Iraqis position when he inevitably leaves us. Loads more quality players out there though so no loss.
