Other side but Andy Nicholas was fairly tall. Those two seasons under Wise / Sturrock / Malpas we had some pretty tall players. |

It's good to see us get proven L1/L2 players in early. We need a core of these. We also need some flair and pace and creativity too, but this will come. DF hase already said how much he loves wingers and we don't have any at the club really, although Goddard will probably be converted.
It's going to be Sturrockesque aerial bombardment. Norris should clean up.

Personally, I couldn't give a shit if they've played for Oxford. Perhaps if it was a direct move and they'd had a recent dodgy history like Maguire I could understand, but Ricketts played over a decade ago for them as a kid at a local club...did one season and pitched up here about 500 games later. |

I didn't think Jim Barron was awful TBH, and Mark Jones was a classy midfielder in Div 4, the rest though....pretty crap. |
