They have been splashing the cash a bit. They did bid £250,000 for Bogle, too.

Sounds like Alan McCormack could be going to Coventry and someone who I think would be perfect for us leader on the pitch can play midfield or defensively and tough tackler and takes no crap.

I've been advocating this....I don't think we'll get the experienced head, we'll have to make do with what we've got.

Heard talk that Power interested in signing Jones permanently,  which would free up space for another loan signing. Has a bit of a history of turning successful loanees into permanent signings and then flogging them on at healthy profit so maybe some mileage in this? Sincs Liverpool sold us Vigs clearly might be something they would consider for player who clearly got no real future at Nfield?

He'd be perfect.

I am in 2 minds about this whole experienced head business. There is a difference between experience and a leader.I think some people just want to see someone on the pitch screaming and shouting and telling them to calm down etc when it's needed.

McCormack has played 4 games all season due to in his managers words, various different niggling injuries.Do we want someone like that?

OK then, he'd be perfect if he was the same player as last time he was here. I think he's got leadership qualities.

I think we miss a bit of bite in midfield regardless, which he'd provide.

But a) of he's that injury prone then no point, b) I think we'd have to ship out kasim or Murray.

IMO, obviously.

Agree. Murray has been a big disappointment this year in my opinion

This. I can't work out how Murray played 90+ games in a high championship performing Watford.

Maybe he's one of those players that looks/plays better when he has others around him... Kasim fits into that category, he completely controlled it Saturday

I think all players at just about any level play better with better players around them.

Murray is an odd one...Watford fans, and I know a few, speak highly of the lad, it may well be that he's been knocked back by injury, so I wouldn't write him off just yet.

He looks no fitter than the day he arrived in my opinion and considering we were being told he is a bit off the pace and needs games and has had that but looks no different i think that is a problem.
