Good point, JAF would not have been given so long in this day and age to prove his worth.

But when he did start scoring then his value currently would be £25m+ if Kodijia can go for £15m.

Simon Cox anyone, yes he doesn't fit our structure, but he would have fit the role.

Hasn't he signed for Southend?

Been out the frame but played a fair few games for them in the Championship. Do we need another midfielder though or does this possibly replace a departing Kasim?

Another Irishman, was though of highly at Watford earlier in his career but has stagnated a little in the last 2 years. Had a fairly good short loan at Wigan last season.

Good signing.

Like the sound of him, played more games in the first team than our usual younger acquisitions from prem/champ. Gets a few goals. Could put Rodgers under pressure

Is he a big hard fucker!? That's what we need!

Then again, he would need to have Messi skills and diamonds falling out of his arse to get Rodgers out of midfield!

Did we need another midfielder - I'd suggest a defender is more important and another striker if as it seems Obika is to spend a bit of time on the injury table.

We cant get any more re-reinforcements until January after 1pm tonight

What flavour of midfielder is he? Seems quite a small lad.

Prob not a priority but maybe they had an eye on him for a while and didn't want to pass up opportunity to sign him. Happy with more bodies anywhere - midfield have a lot of running to do, prone to injury

Sounds like his best success at Watford came at playing in the #10 role, so will be interesting to see where he fits in.
