I think Anderson was always likely to move elsewhere hence why we signed Delfouneso anyway. Gills fans seem to think that if Shitty use some of the Kodjia money on signing (an injured) Bradley Dack then they will move for Anderson as replacement. |

I still hope we get a goal-scorer.
That's not to belittle the players we have, and I know it's early doors with their time with us so far, they just don't strike me as out and out goal-scorers. I've been wrong before though.

Obika and Delfouneso are both line leaders/target men and Norris plays in the hole behind a front man, we do miss a poacher which is what we need.
But saying that Poachers are not easy to come by and almost every club is after them too.
There may be one in lower leagues that we can nick but in the top 3 leagues they are very few and far between, Austin and Ajose being the last 2 that we have managed to get hold of.

It's a concern that 2 of our joint leading scorers for competitive games so far this season, will be missing this weekend. I'm not sure who'll replace their 1 goal apiece contribution. |
