Are these the actual names or just wild guesses?

My wild guess, hang on Chalkies . . . Wes Thomas

Potter's a winger, and a scummer.

MAF is a non-scoring striker but would surely be a beast at this level?

Both be good additions and add strength in depth to the squad.

Mansfield rate Potter and don't get why he was released. One fan thought Flickers let him go because the fans liked him (unlike flitcroft that soapy tit wank).

Fourtne big strong player. Hold the ball bring others in to play. Good for bringing in to mix it up a bit. Be useful defending as wel as attacking. I'd welcome them both.

Strength in depth, something i don't often get to say about the Town

We could do worse than Wes Thomas IMO, he didn't set the world on fire last time (2 goals in 6 games) when on loan but is a capable striker in L1 so should do well in L2, if it were him.

He tore us a new one a few years back when he played for Rovrum.

Another ex Pox player could just tip Chalkies over the edge though.

I see he ruptured his achilles in November so that could put paid to him signing for anyone soon.

It’s not Ranger and it’s not Ajose. However it is a target man and free agent training with the club. Could be one of two

Potter would be a decent signing, Mansfield fans rated him and didn't want to see him leave, even if he did play for the scum hes a versatile left sided winger with a bit of pace.

Jury is out on MAF though, Grimsby turned down signing him after a couple of pre season games and I am not sure he will add anything that Adebayo can't add. Saying that Southend fans liked him and several thought he was worth another year with them.

While there is obviously a huge question mark over MAF at 37, you'd think Brown would not sign him if he thinks he's past it. That's what the trial will be for.

I was there on Saturday, and Adebayo most certainly did not look like a target man to me. Whereas Fortune clearly is. In the absence of Richards we need another one IMO, and he should fit the bill.

Richards isn't a target man either.  Wonder how quick the 'Norris is shit' brigade would jump on the 'forwards should score goals' bandwagon if we were to sign someone like MAF.

Personally I'm not sure about him because as long as Richards is injured none of our forwards are goal scorers.

Adebayo not being a target man surprises me, he was used as one for Fulham U23's but he was also converted to CB there and played a fair few games. He ended last season as Fulham U23 leading scorer with several goals coming from his head.

From the Fulham website from last season.
Quote
Adebayo is grabbing the headlines in Fulham U23s' Premier League 2 campaign this season - scoring goal after goal as Grant's side look to go one step further than last season and get promoted to Division One.

The 19-year-old joined the club as an U9 and has played at both centre back and as a forward, although based on this season it looks like he'll be staying as a striker with his phenomenal goal rate.

A natural finisher, Adebayo has now joined Cheltenham Town on loan for the rest of the season.

Richards isn't a target man either.
Indeed, Richards is a quite defensive forward and never a target man in a million years.
