There are not a lot of fans who think that Mcgivern should have been offered a contract anyway so no great loss there really and free's up a space for someone who can challenge.
Hopefully we will see a bit of movement inwards next few days

I get our piss poor centre halves mixed up so just went to look through Wiki to identify who was who, Roberston gets more dead wood out. Whilst doing that I noted that McGlashan's middle name is Dave, not David, Dave - how cool is that!  |

Factor in his age, and background (several years at Torquay, most recently released by Wimbledon after a handful of games) and God only knows what possessed Flitcroft to offer him 2 years. Even if he'd done alright, keeping hold of him shouldn't have been difficult. Senseless. |

Akinde is a funny one. He clearly knows how to score goals but bombed so badly at Bristol City, Bristol Rovers and Portsmouth.
He's scored enough at L2 level for any club to take a punt.
