I spent a bit of a summer in Mayo in the early 80's....bird I knew, her parents had a small holding near Croagh Patrick....I estimated at that time it was about 25 years behind the rest of teh British Isles.
Is it still like that?
So Reg, like her parents, I'm assuming said bird also had a smallholding at that time ?
