The Evening Standard apparently is announcing that Dennis Wise has been interviewed and is set to be announced as the new manager..........would explain the Wilkins visit etc

Shocked Link?

If it is true, we could certainly do worse

I'd be quite happy with that but like all decent rumours i doubt its true.  Sad

dunno mate on myonlyswindo they're saying it was actually in the paper tonight so not on the net yet. More than 1 person has seen the paper and pretty reliable posters so I'm pretty sure it's being reported

well people were banding it about at the hudds match that Wilkins had been seen (but then half the unemployed managers in the country were being said to be seen to)

But wilkins has definately visited the CG once or twice this season putting his own money in a bucket for the red army fund

Bit different if it's an actual article in a paper though, suggests more than just internet stupidity.

Could be an interesting twist especially with Wise down as the favourite to become the next QPR boss at one point.

wasn't Dennis Wise the supposed "favourite" to take over from King in october?

Interesting that we seem to be an open managerial hunt again. Last time it wasn't obvious who was going to get the job must have been when McMahon got sacked and Quinn got appointed.

i fucking hate dennis wise but i fucking love ray wilkins

didn't wise leave millwall when they told him there was no money for him to buy players even though he had spent quite a bit already?

it could be really good in some ways but i can't help feeling it could be mcmahon all over again (not the championship season of course)
