Can't help but feel Mass will be off this window. Lets be honest, if he pays for best part of a years permanent playing costs we may not have a choice

I don't think he will. There's no need for either player or club to rush a deal through (hopefully).

How has Kasim actually performed for Iraq I wonder? I recorded all the games but frankly couldn't be bothered to watch them all the way through. I'm guessing he could have played every bit as well as Luongo but just hasn't received the publicity due to not playing for the host nation?

Im sure the Iraqis would shout about him... Unfortunately they seem to be getting their heads chopped off for even watching the games so I guess coverage isn't quite the same.

I'm relaxed about all of this.

Luongo has attracted proper interest, interest which is likely to turn his head.

For the first time in a while, I'm confident that Town won't dick these potential negotiations up.

And he's not around to hand in a transfer request either to force our hand. Tee hee!

First time ever for me. I've said it before, we should have every confidence in Power doing the right thing for the Club. This is something it's going to take people a while to get used to  Yes

This is where half the division implodes at the realisation that Luongo isn't on loan from Spurs Smiley

I think it was a very wise move by Power to turn down the bid. Yes, we could do with £1.9m, but there are a whole host of clubs interested and the chances are that at least one will be willing to pay more than the first bid that is chucked our way.

I don't think Mass will be going anywhere until at least this summer, and him being the other side of the world is going to help, especially as he's likely to be in a plane coming back to the UK on transfer deadline day !!

I'm sure either Sevilla or the Turkish club will come back with an offer that will be difficult to turn down. Our best hope is that he wants to stay in England. Personally, I'd be fucking off to Spain on the first flight!

I don't understand why any bid would be difficult to turn down.

He'll still be worth the same come the summer
