Would imagine between Leeds and us, his big contract was paid up. We get a good asset at this level, so even if we have given him 100k signing bonus and wages that are at the top, but within, our structure, that's pretty good business in my book, while getting 500k for Smith.

I genuinely think some of our supporters don't seem to understand that the transfer window is open all summer and are basing their opinions purely on what happened yesterday!

I read it more that they thought we'd strengthen further in addition to the summer signings, as the squad was still a bit thin.

If we sign Ajose and the other guy I think its looking a lot better. Robert aside I haven't a clue what level the midfield is at (Even Kassim - is he going to be demotivate through lack of move, determined, or ??), but so far so good  . Less worried about attack/defence now.
