I don't normally like to go in for unwarranted transfer rumours, but one of the FB groups posted a cryptic clue as to a player that might sign saying "it is a little bit of 1969 about it". Most people have obviously jumped to it being related to Swindon/Arsenal...but wondering if it is moon landing related....so by that logic Announce Luke Armstrong from Middlesborough... 6ft 1in forward was on loan to Accrington last year.  |

If it was an Arse and all loan then Bukayo Saka who is a very highly rated England U19 winger aged 17, Tyreece John-Jules a left winger/number 10 aged 18 or Xavier Amaechi a Bath born 18 year old scoring 10 in 15 games as a striker/winger (both sides).
Probably all well out of our reach as loanees.
The link could though prove to be utter bollocks.
But new transfer rumours are great even if they end up being just rumours.

Zach Clough has had such an odd career so far. Burst onto the scene at Bolton as a youngster and scored quite a few goals in the championship, but he couldn't get a game at all on loan at Rochdale last year and still only 24.
