I cleared a load of stuff from our garage at the weekend that had lain undisturbed since we dumped it there when we moved in. 20 years ago. FFS
This is what slightly worries me about my possessions and our new house. The woman moved in a month or so before me and as my boxes were moved into the house, what wasn't relocated straight to the skip, went straight in the loft. It's now about 4 months and I don't miss any of it. I'm not even sure what's up there anymore. I'm going to keep the boxes of vinyl and computer equipment, but other than that I'm torn between unpacking my crap (eventually) and just closing my eyes and skipping it.

tbh, I've said several times over the past 10 years the best thing we could do with the garage is open the door, chuck in a mollie and let all the crap burn itself out. The missus wasn't keen though, she thought the insurance company would take a dim view if things got out of hand.

Been in our current house 4 years I still haven't unpacked 90% of the shit i've accumulated. Currently sorting through and selling/binning/recycling pretty much everything. I'll have a pair of trousers some flip flops and a Showaddywaddy album left by the end of it i hope.

Getting woken up by the wind and this stupid creaky house after 5 hours sleep. I hate night shifts.

I would have last had 5 hours sleep probably 28 years ago before I had kids that wouldn't sleep until they hit 16 and then middle aged man prostate!

Got half way round Coate on my run this morning and desperately needed a dump. Just about made it back, but I was a lot quicker on the way back than on the way out!

Interesting, I'd have thought running while yo-yoing a turd would slow you down.

Amber Rudd doing her bit for international women's days by reading out some of the abuse she gets by email.
I don't think you receive that abuse because you're a woman, you stupid bint.

I was highly incentivised to get back quickly, let's put it that way.
