The Exeter fans seem to think he may be "rested" and I feel we have a betetr chance of winning today if he is missing, but we will see.

Surely he won't play today at risk of injury.

Stonewashed Shaun said on the radio earlier that our top two striker targets are one from non-league and one from a higher division. Doesn't narrow it down but interesting to know.
Neil Harris has also confirmed that Millwall have recalled all loan players. States some will be around the first team and others sold.

So we may get 1st refusal on Sid? He's not near Championship 1st team level so could be a promising transfer signing prospect.

I see that one of the Towns main transfer targets has signed for another club. 2 days into the new year and we're moving down our list of available players to strengthen the squad. Christian Pulisic has joined Chelsea in a £57.6m move from Borussia Dortmund. Just the sort of player we need and he's not interested is signing for STFC,how the mighty have fallen.

Depends how bad his injury is I suppose, if he is out for a month for e.g. do we sign him now and hope it is a month or renew interest in the summer ? I think Wellens needs to decide on formation, he talks about using wingers but playing a 4.1.3.3 isn't really using wingers, does he want to play a 442 with wingers on either side crossing in balls or play with a holding midfielder ? Either formation I think we need 1 striker, 1 left back and 1 creative midfielder. that is just for starters and absolute bare minimum, then I guess it depends who leaves as we also need a central defender, another striker and perhaps a wide player or 2 who can put over a decent cross.

He wants to play with wingers, but we only have mcGlashen so he's a bit stuffed on that front.

Be great if we could get away with it but I think even L2 refs are likely to notice if we have 11 outfield players on the pitch

He's getting on a bit, but then many of our squad are, that's why no one wanted them. That said we need a striker and could double as player manager if LP gets twitchy with wellends. "Bournemouth will allow striker Jermain Defoe to leave in January" He would walk this league even if he is nearly 40.
