He'd be unsettled even if he did play.  In terms of the next game, it's a positive which ever way you look at it.

If PNE have triggered a clause in his contract then I doubt there's much Exeter can do either way.

Town are fully capable of messing up vs. Exeter with or without JS though.

If it’s going to be a loan, Andy Nelson is going to a L2 club when his loan from Sunderland to Darlo ends on Jan 1st. 6 goals in 4 games. Probably stay oop north, I guess.

If Power wants to spend, Amond at Newport could be worth a punt.

The ol' lazy rumour is Courtney Duffus at Oldham.

lazy or not, everything fits together nicely with that one.

but hey, maybe we'll ship a few out and shop in Lidl rather than Poundland. Wonder if we'll get it done early for a change

Abo Eisa I heard today.
More likely their player Jenneh - presently ripping it up on loan at Torquay.

Was a Brown target at the tail end of the summer window. Sure he got injured which put paid to any move.

Hypothetically- anyone else think signing Mo Eisa would guarantee us playoffs?

left out of citys last match ready to go on loan next week. I'm not saying we will get him. but if we did would that be enough?

there are no guarantees, but it would be a hell of a statement of intent. About as good as we could hope for as a loan signing (But cat in hells chance.)

I think we'd still need Nelson signed, a left back and a winger. even with Mo.

we'd have an outside chance without the lb and winger, he'd need to repeat near his 1 in 2 form for Cheltenham I think

Few months back I heard Turnbull would be back permanently in January (sound the lazy rumour/returning player klaxon), but his reemergence in the Northampton starting 11 may have put that one to bed.

No, hes just back from a bad injury and Plymouth, MKD and Lincoln all said to be interested, he would rather go to any of those as they are all either in a higher league or in automatic promotion slots already.

That is if he has recovered from his injury anyway.

Would rather we go for an up and coming talent like Eddie Nketiah from Arsenal or Charlie Brown at Chelsea, both high goalscorers in the U23 league even if they are probably out of our league.

We will probably end up with a youth loan from Fleetwood Town or Rotherham!

Played excellently against us on Boxing Day but I would suggest hes not a lot better than Conroy really.

That rumour has been circulating since pre season.
I wouldn't have turned my nose up at Turnbull, but I would have some of the same concerns others have shared about his suitability for what we needed.  A 6ft3 defender partial to heading the ball seems more likely to be the answer, we shall see.

Curle seems to rate hime though so can't see a deal on now anyway.

I don't think we will get him. I was asking if just one signing could make that push we need.

you can't really say that you would prefer last season's top scorer (I'm guessing) over a prem loannee?

I'm sure we will end up with the latter though
