It's things like this that make me think there may well be a God and that if there is, he has a great sense of humour:

Decent set of A-Level results today for the first class I've seen all the way through, so chuffed with that. Not as confident for the GCSEs next week though.

Youngest daughter got less than expected grades but got in to her reserve university. Ace. A very proud dad and happy for her. Bring on the relentless wallet trauma for the next three years.

Nope. I can still remember waiting for the school bus one morning, pressing play on my Walkman and being annoyed at discovering my mate had left his album (Blue Lines) in it.

Great album.

Thousands upon thousands of people get through uni without it causing anyone (except arguably themselves) wallet trauma.

FaceTime'ing my boy whilst I'm at work, and being serenaded... todays choice was 'Feeling This' by Blink-182.

Good lad.

Also, adding bacon to ANYTHING makes the thing better. Even bacon.

Agreed. This also seems to be a particularly British phenomenon?

The world's first crisp sandwich shop opened in Belfast last year.....not sure it's still going.  A copycat establishment was opened in Keighley, and I believed closed soon after.. have you ever been to Keighley?

Popping into a shop in Waterlooville the other day, some old boy came over to me to ask for directions to somewhere.. I didn't know where it was so I just said 'sorry mate... not sure...'

He then moved on to a group of young girls... I'd say around 15-16 years old...

He said 'excuse me... can I....'

To which this one girl cut him off and said 'I'm not interested.. fuck off you pervy old cunt!!'...

Seriously, his face was a picutre... I didn't quite know what thread to put this in, but it was fucking hilarious.. and harsh.
