I watched it but didnt feel any emotion at all
This lot have killed my enthusiasm for the club at the moment
If that’s the case why didn’t you go fishing or watch a film or something?

I’ve caved in and agreed To go with the DNA to Franchise if I can get two tickets. After all if he’s prepared to come home for the W/E then I suppose I’ll drive to Buckinghamshire and back. But I’m not spending any money at SN1.

2nd half you could say we looked the better, but they were happy for us to have the ball. I can see why as well cause their goal was all our own making!
I would never understand why a team with an extra man would be "happy to let us have the ball". I think you do us an injustice, I think they were poor and the fact that we had the ball because we wanted it more. Bout time too

Having watched the highlights - I actually liked the intensity & desire to keep hold of the ball before setting up the attack that lead to our equaliser.
It was also refreshing to see Holloway animated from the stands basically taking charge without being officially in charge. He clearly still has a passion for the game at least.
…at the very least it seems like we’re at least gonna put everything we have into fighting for points - which is the very minimum change we needed post Kennedy.
Never rated Grant Hall - still don’t.
If anything is going to galvanise our season it’s going to be a last minute equaliser having played 80+ minutes with 10 men against a team that hate us with an animated manager in the stands leading the team 2 days before he’s actually due to start work….if that doesn’t do it, nothing will.

Not sure what it sounded like elsewhere in the ground but the atmosphere in DR nearest the TE was very good yesterday, much better than I’ve heard for ages!

I was in the TE near the DRS, and yes it was very good considering the attendance. It helped get the TE into a couple of decent chants.

It sounds silly, but it's been so quiet recently that it kind of took me by suprise. 'Oh yeah, that's what we do, we sing and get behind the team' - like I didn't realise it was missing from games until it was there. Nice one whoever got it all started

That was us lot at the back that started it going. Definitely got a lot more involved and appeared to lift the players. It’s like a library. Nothing compared to what it used to be like but equally understandable with what we are putting up with this current ownership. Can only hope in the future we have a passionate fanbase that makes us proud.

My first game of the season since Walsall, surely anything at all had to be an improvement on that. 9 minutes in, more head in hands situations as Grant Hall flew in for a challenge. From where I was sitting it looked reckless, relief to see a yellow in the referees hand. Shock a minute later as he was given a straight red. Not long after Gills went 1-0 up and it seemed like game over. To be fair our goal had lived a bit of a charmed life with an epic goal mouth scramble ending with the ball gratefully in Bycroft's arms.
To my surprise, and this is probably due to the fact Gills had lost their previous 5, but they were so passive and rather than go for the jugular, seemed happy with their narrow lead. We were beginning to get some joy with the Wright - Sobowale partnership and it was from this source that we grabbed an equaliser half way through the allocated stoppage time. Pleased for Harry Smith who had left the line tremendously.
I celebrated the equaliser pretty wildly. (for me anyway) the atmosphere in the DRS where I was in the ground seemed to give the players that belief. I assume that the Gills fans, who were singing about libraries were enjoying the fact they had an opportunity for some reading, I assume they don't get that luxury in the Medway.
Walking back to the station there was a little bit of pavement dancing between the 2 sets of fans. A little bit of light entertainment to end the day.

I must be not too far in front of you then. It was good to have a bit of noise, it was much needed and certainly gave everyone one a lift including the players. Left feeling positive for once. Let’s keep it going

I do! The whole situation is farcical. The DRS is the steepest stand, and its probably HSE lead. Get that. Meanwhile the rest of the ground is free to stand up. As is the DRS at half time, where the apple race has given far more excitement than the football in recent weeks.

A few (20 years probably) The County Ground was always noisy and teams hated coming to us, we always backed the team loudly even when losing. Now it is so quiet at games, teams no longer fear coming here. I think fans underestimate ow much influence they can have on the team with positive backing and loud singing, I wish we could get it back again.
