Promising all of that with 10 men, fair play from them I thought at 0-1 and down to 10 it could be 4 or 5. Good to see Ollie getting involved on the side, still lots to work on but looking a bit better already!

Great to have one of those feel good moments that crop up in all seasons even the bad ones.

Delighted to also see that it's not just us who can be completely clueless against 10.

My take on it is no side in this division is really any better. It's all shite, just some bother to shoot now and then.

Been saying it all season. I wouldn't bet on anyone to win the league or go down to be honest

Used to always head down the front of the Don Rogers with 2-3 mins left, only seen about 4 goals in 20 years, but today's one was probably the most satisfactory. Created nothing but never looked in trouble, even with 10 men for near on 90 mins. Shitty Gills fans deserved that, they're no better than we are.

Happy to get something from the game, as has been said not at all impressed with the Pikeys.

Ridiculous challenge from Hall, can’t argue with the Red Card.
The ironic thing was the ref got the yellow out, but because Hall had run off back to the box it gave the ref time to change his mi d (or have it changed for him by one of the other officials).
We did wonder if he would have got away with it if he had stayed next to the ref.

Every now and then football gives you a reminder why you bother. I was contemplating another fat L and up pops Smith.

And I fucking loved it.

The atmosphere was different today, it didn't feel like we were all waiting for a collective "for fucks sake" moment to happen. The red card galvanised us.

Bycroft didn't start the game well, but a smart save kept the score 1-0 and was an absolute key moment.

We were a quiet bunch but the team grew into it and the crowd started to respond. I can't believe the gills settled back without intent. On 60 we all woke up and got a bit of atmosphere going too.

If we can keep that it could be critical for our season.

Maybe this is the honeymoon period. Maybe this is the tide turning. I don't know. I'll just enjoy it today.

Exactly this.

Whatever the weather, you can't but help go mental with a last minute salvage job. Especially when it's against a side who offered fook all and whose fans are deserving a long trip home.

Here's hoping this is the turning point of the season.
