One thing he does have in common with Sheridan is parents passing away. I don’t think the impact of that can be underestimated. Particularly because it effect MK ‘s pre season not ideal. But time for excuses will run out if he doesn’t change something.

I hate 3 at the back. I've had enough of it to be honest.
Yes it can work. I'm sure there's a couple of teams using it in our league towards the top of the table.
But it's fucking wank. Your only genuine width and outlet comes from wingbacks. Players who usually started their careers further forward and had to drop back because they weren't good enough at the 'going forward' part. Yet we are almost solely reliant on them for all our creativity. Why build a team like this?
We spent the entirety of last season getting hammered, and then decided to go again with the same formation. We did ok going forward because we had the best player in the division in Kemp and the best attacking Wing back in Hutton. Meant we could win games. Then they both left and we saw a glimpse of what this season would be like.
Red flags for me as early as pre-season where it was obvious Kennedy didn't have a clue what to do with Glatzel. He still doesn't. We are not a good enough football team to be dropping Glatzel. We are 20th in league 2. If you can't get the best out of him Kennedy or figure out a system to get him going then that is on YOU.
I don't want to target Drinan, I think he's completely fine as a 4th choice striker at this level but when he is starting ahead of Glatzel then I do begin to take issue with it.

Happened to Di Canio x2 didn’t it? I know he was a different breed but he’s sheer commitment & dedicated despite suffering personal tragedy galvanised everyone - that & winning football matches obviously

To be fair Drinan is (in theory) the backup to Smith, so Tshimanga is playing instead of Glatzel, which is equally baffling

Was sunning my behind in Gran Canaria yesterday....getting loads of messages to tell me that i was missing nothing and it was shit.
Just run my eye over the Highlights...
So we have the Gas in a meaningless cup nobody cares about, Numb away, which is a graveyard for us (even got dicked in the PDC season) and then high flying Donny.
The Club is rotten to the core and not everything can be placed at Kennedys door but fuck me....he has to be gone if we get a pasting at Numb. The result v Gas should have no bearing at all.

I think he was protecting the players - I think he has enough self awareness to realise he’s the target for criticism. I respect him for fronting up in interviews and staying positive. Rather that than sheridans everything is shit approach. I hope it comes good but he’s going to have to change his style or something.
Fronting up? He legged it down the tunnel on the final whistle, and then waited until gone 6 to do the interview so it wasn't live. Even then he still managed to cock it up by blaming a dry pitch, when it's our fucking pitch for which we control the sprinkler tap

It’s impossible to rate Tshimanga (or any of them really) based on the horrendous system they’re being told to play. We rate Glatzel higher only because we’ve seen what he’s capable of in flashes last season (even though Gunning was also terrible). But Glatzel has been no better than Tshimanga. Both want service to feet or balls to run onto. We simply do not provide, or even try to provide them with that.

Just saw the attendance for Saturday's game, no way was that gate anywhere near 6K, counting ST holders who have turned up or not, complete BS from the cub, as per usual.

You can beat them for plenty of things, but counting Season tickets is common place for sporting teams.

I've always wondered why. If I buy a matchday ticket before then no-show, do I also still get counted? Is attendance then "tickets sold" (at all clubs)?

Let’s say someone bought 1,000 tickets at £24 with dodgy money, and then received that money back in fees for services rendered, sweeping the DRS after everyone has left for example, then you would have clean money. I’m not suggesting this is happening (at least there’s no proof that it is) but would make sense if attendances were inflated

To be fair every club does it, even prem clubs, it’s not just us. I won’t be buying a ticket anytime soon. I’ve been watching on Sky or listening on the radio. I’ve had enough of Kennedy already. One of the worst managers I’ve experienced in my lifetime of watching Swindon.
