30 points lost from winning situations. That is surely unprecedented at any level

First (and last) game of the season for me in person, sort of appropriate that it was so typical of the season overall. Not much to say that hasn't been said.

Spineless. So fragile. Caved in against a team who’d lost four in a row. Historically shit now.

Got back from the races an hour ago. Saw we scored, shrugged my shoulders, saw we conceded 2, shrugged again. Couldn't care less. I want this season to be the worst on record and force some real change.
As a fan for so long it's so sad to not have an emotion or connection to the current guise of stfc on and off the pitch

None of them give a shit cos most won’t be here next season.
Until we get over this short term squad building on the cheap we are going one way - national league save us a space at the end of next season.

Fragile is the concern. We are in a precarious position here, there is still a genuine outside chance of getting dragged into a scrap at the bottom. We don’t have the bottle for that.

This is the saddest part of it all. Felt absolutely nothing when we scored and nothing when we conceded. Numb to it all now. Be a waste of energy getting angry, these lot are not worth the energy at all currently.

Did anyone see/hear what happened with the steward and the disabled section down the front of the DRS? Provided some mild interest during a duller moment.

This squad cannot be getting any proper coaching, I’d be interested to see what the coaching team are actually trying to get them to do.
I know we joke about it but the game plan can’t actually be “just gung-ho and wing it”, there must be actual patterns that they’re trying to implement.

Gunning: - Dreadful. No intensity or appetite. - Its not formations or technical ability. It is heart - If you dont graft and work your heart out...You will come up short in every game as the difference in team is small - Just compounding errors with errors. When you aren't professional enough.... - We just have to be better (and he includes himself) - No rotation - Khan out injured. - Changed shape with Kokolo coming in. - But it clearly didnt work as we were horrific - Motivation: Needs to come from within or you fall down the football pyramid - Simplistic mistakes followed by other mistakes - Massively frustrating for the fans and the staff. It has to mean more and has to hurt - We just didnt do anything tonight. No intensity and no movement - We didnt have a grandstand finish. It was lack lustre - Major stumbling block...If you don't work hard at this level - We played very poor tonight - If they dont perform in the next 8 games, then the club isnt going to be desperate to extend their deals - The process is good. At Mansfield we had 20 shots. Tonight there were players on the beach. They have to come out of the team - Khan is 'just injured'. Gunning wouldnt answer whether he would be available on Saturday ('I don't know') - There are some fantastic players at this level but they have to believe in themselves and work hard
