More a recommendation really. Heading to Bourton-on-the-water shortly for the bank holiday weekend. There seems to be a fair few pubs, but are there any the good drinkers of the TEF specifically would recommend. Local real ale preferred but ultimately I'm not hugely fussy.

Someone on a WhatsApp Group sent a picture of Wobbly Bob beer, which I assume is how our intrepid Michael Palin got his name? Ultimately the best posters seem to have Bob in their name, almost!

Hawkstone Brewery

We went there, it was good and the stout, was surprisingly good. Its only really a big tent but it's a pretty good setup. Nice pizzas from the van outside also.

We drank in the Tiny Rebel Cardiff on Westgate Street. Its literally smack bang outside the stadium so will be rammed. There is a Wetherspoons, (Prince of Wales) a Brewdog and another craft beer place in the vicinity of St Mary's Street. Good amount of pubs in the centre with plenty of choice depending on your preference.

It’s been many years but used to go to a pub called the “Goat Major” near the Castle.
Just checked on google & it’s now called the Blue Bell.

We have booked an Air Bnb about 20mins for the stadium, expensive! But not too bad when split between a group
