On the bright side, if there's one manager in the division whose likely to be disappointed by a win with less than 50% possession...

County crowd has been excellent and I suspect a big part of the refereeing performance.
Similar to the Wrectum crowd, they turn the ref into their 12th man.

1st half shit, 2nd half pleasing. We knew the run would come to an end, it happens to be at the team that could well go up as champions.

Att: 9,810 (817 Town)

Great turn out for a 280 mile round trip on a Tuesday.

Thing is, we were done by half time so all Notts had to do was not be stupid. Momentum changed for sure, nearly got that vital second goal. But didn't

Hey ho, never did I think it would be October until we lost.

Hutton's had a good half, probably helped by them sitting back.

He’s certainly better when he doesn’t have to defend

He has put some great crosses in this half, 1st half he was awful though, but so were most of the players, for me Mahoney gets MotM.

Just didn't have the luck today from the penalty call at 0-0 to the missed chances at 3-1 things just didn't go our way. Having said that, Notts County were absolutely dominant in that first half and we're probably able to take that second half a bit easier.

That tackle from Langstaff right at the end of the game on Hutton was a nasty and unnecessary one

Not sure I've seen full time whistle blow on a blatant foul/free kick before. Not that it makes a difference, just weird.

Well done County, good side who'll be right up there. Big game at the weekend to bounce back.

They sat back and stopped pressing in the second half. Damage was done in the first.

Onwards to Saturday.

Notts 9 leaves one on Hutton at the final whistle. Ref's a cunt, not sure he's why we lost though.
We go again...

Don’t think we’re going to see Uwakwe for a while. Shade will start next game.
