So why was the foul on Kemp tight at the end not a Red Card. Sutton player was the last one and stopped a goal scoring opportunity. Ref just gave a yellow!

from memory he knocked the ball towards a wider position so judged not a clear goalscoring chance.

but while the ref wasn't shit, he still bottled some decisions. foul on young looked a clearer pen and red to me

Yeah but he blatantly left that one because he didn’t give a penalty to Sutton in the first half and send FBT off

Austin unlucky in second half but first half not his finest hour or .

honestly think that's going to be a split opinion.

can see where you (and others) come from, but on the other hand he's set up 2 and had a big hand in a third

deffo not firing in front of goal himself. But today it didn't matter.

agreed. And when put like that we probably had the better luck in the bottling !

Yeah you know what I take it back. Forgot he set up the first. Done well to keep it alive for Youngs second also. Couple times he really should have got on the end of a cross- one from Uwakwe stands out. Still in the camp that he’s offering a lot to the team and creating space for others. Thought second half he was unlucky. 100% right sub to make though, RHM gave them nightmares.

It was a scared ref.  It was late, it was high it was cynical.  It was borderline red for intent.  But he bottled all the big decision so he wasnt going to change right at the end.

Problem for Flynn. Does he start RHM as he looks on fire and, more importantly, can he drop Austin.

Not sure what RHM would think about being a super sub.

Shade and Rush were an absolute nightmare for Sutton. Imagine having to face that pace in those conditions. They are perfect impact players.

I'm torn on Austin. I'm not sure if he's a hinderance to us or if just his presence and reputation is creating space for others.

I couldn't help but watch Smith today and think how class he'd look in our side. He won virtually everything, great link up play and even managed to get on the turn a few times.

Makes me think a Wickham type striker could be a welcome addition.

I know the fannying around at the back, to and forth with Mahoney, gets on people’s tits but there’s really no point in the upfield hoof as we have nobody to win it, shield it and lay it off so it comes straight back. A Wickham type may give us that option.

Hey guys. When I work a split shift on a Saturday, I normally wander the 40 seconds back to my flat and have a siesta. Everytime I have done that this season I've woken up to us having scored 5 goals.

I tried to fake it last week, I had the day off and hungover as fuck. Had headed to the pub early doors but was struggling at 3.40 ish so I thought I'd try and trick the football gods.  Didn't work.

But genuine split shift work siestas I'm on 3/3. Boom.

Not sure this stat is “verified” but I’ve seen someone saying it took us 17 games to get to 20 goals last year. Now we’ve done it in 6!!!

This system is gloriously cavalier but as largely a “home fan” (I only manage about 3 away games a year) I’m absolutely loving it. After the Sheridan season, Garner (where we were crap at home) and the horror of Lindsey and Morris it is just such a tonic to see us playing purposeful attacking football at the CG.

It's in sharp contrast to the boring football of last year, the only downside is the stress of the games!

RHM’s goal was so good. There’s a real diamond of a player in there, just need to get him consistent
