Not for me, at least until Charlie becomes ineffective in the stuff that doesn’t include scoring goals. He’s still a huge player for us.

I would keep starting him and Young and allow RHM to be disgustingly good off the bench after 60 minutes.
I agree, his contribution is still key

If people can't enjoy that without worrying about the 2 we let in (the other 1 was a total fluke)thats a shame. All of a sudden do we have to be afraid of Walsall, same points as Crawley? We have a team now that's got a great chance against anyone in this league. It is a "shit one" after all as many keep saying.
Today must have allayed some fears about our apparent lack of depth. All 3 subs, including Minturn gave great performances, Cain stepped in seamlessly and still a few injured to come back.
MC Eachran did the donkey work today,Kemp was unbelievable second half and Brewitt, for me was outstanding at the back. 2 more goals for Young as well.
I'm pretty happy with things, personally.( oh,also, a dead cert penalty not given and Charlie was onside for that header in my book)

Sutton should have had a penalty first half.

Also think Sutton’s first disallowed goal was close as well.

Decision’s definitely went both ways today.

Flynn:
- Disappointed with the goals we conceded
- Should have had 2 penalties
- Ref said he probably made a mistake not giving the penalty when Sutton went up the other end and scored
- Dont like the fact we let them back into it. But at least we grew back into it and were 'blistering'
- Wanted to be patient and not go long. Knew they didnt want to press. So, told goalkeeper to be patient
- RHM was excellent. Has been chomping at the bit. Unfortunate to get injured when he did and then Young scoring 9
- Not happy to play kamikaze football. He wants to play educated football
- Probably want 2 more players in
- Kinsella back next week. Clayton probably two weeks
- Free agent spoken to yesterday. Nothing has happened. Still waiting.
- There are funds to bring in 1 or 2. Wants the right ones, not just numbers. Hopefully get that done this week
- Rest and recovery is important. Hottest he's been around a football pitch
- Kemp closing down players in 89th minute. Know how good he can be. Thought he was excellent
- Austin: All strikers are frustrated. Flynn and Austin both celebrated at the end. Austin very clever play to make space. He wants more goals, but is the first one up celebrating when we won.

Not a bad turn out from them.
That was 17 more than they had brought in their previous 2 visits combined.

Leaders Gillingham have scored 5 and conceded 5 from 7.

We've scored 20 and conceded 11 from 6.

Perhaps there's a happy medium?

Not worried about Austin’s reaction when he went off. I thought his goal was offside personally, but he maybe thought different and was frustrated about being goal-less again. His impact on the team, though, is immense

I am sure it was just his frustrations blowing over I dont think there is any malice in what he did, he soon enough came back out to watch the rest of the game from the bench.

Enjoyable day today overall, happy for Cain as well.

Some big questions at the back but I’ll postpone being worried whilst we’re still unbeaten. October will be the real test of whether we can maintain this against the better sides in the division, if we come through that with a respectable point haul and no hammerings then I’ll be happy.
