Ryan Whelan:

Update. Not a lot happening. Wouldn't hold your breath.

The proposed departure hasn't had the interest needed at this stage and time is fast running out.

One potential incoming target isn't window bound so not as much of a rush, but... a departure could help out to free up some space in the squad.

Ryan Whelan is very hit and miss...

I think guesses most of the time after rehashing other Internet articles

The potential conditional incoming sounds like Edwards?

I'd be happy if the status quo was maintained.

He’s hit well with Swindon this year.

Notts County have signed Lou's grandson Lewis Macari on loan from Stoke.  Bet that makes a few feel old.

I think one of the first times I started to really feel the toll of time was when players like Andy Cole retired, I was 12/13 when he went up with us with Newcastle, was very strange seeing a full career go by.  Seeing Kasper is now 36 is also something.

Remember Kasper came up for a corner like his dad vs us. Online somewhere, Bury?

Seeing Wayne Rooney break onto the scene. Win the lot with Manchester United whilst becoming their record goal scorer & also becoming England’s top goal scorer & most capped outfield player. Then to see him dropping down to Derby looking incredibly old then retiring to take up management all whilst being younger than me was my first real football related ‘fuck, I’m old’

Lavinier angled for a move to be the first choice RB and he's only gone and become backup again with FGR signing Fankaty Dabo

Weirdly Jody Morris being here as a manager made me feel old. He was a perennial next big thing when I was growing up and getting obsessed with football back in the day.
