Maybe it rose tinted specs because we’ve had a good start but I’d be ok with no in’s or out’s

In an ideal world I’d want a DM who can drop into CB when Dokes & FBT push but not sure I’d want that at the expense of having to move on a Wakeling or a Khan or a Hutton

Losing Khan would give us no physical presence in Midfield let alone the rest of the squad. Fingers crossed he stays.

I predict a boring transfer window with one player going out on loan, no incomings except 1 loan maybe being made permanent but unlikely

Re: Kahn’s rumoured departure. I’d like to think, though in time honoured tradition I have not read back. HTH 😉 That Mr. Flynn would a) have access to said funds coming in b) be aware that no sensible offer would be turned down for him ( or anyone else) c) have a contingency plan to not only negate said departure but be in a position to improve the whole squad set up as a result of incoming funds d) be assured that funds are or will be made available in January to improve the squad for the second half of the season e) be aware that last season was the biggest clusterfuck/own goal in terms of management AND player recruitment seen for a long time f) realise that this is in a way a shit or bust season for an under performing giant in L2

So far I have been impressed with what I have seen. Yes we need a bit more beef in certain areas but there is a little shiver down my spine that reminds me of the Hoddle team don’t worry about out letting in goals because by fuck we’ll score more anyway. That worked until he fucked off of course and left us with Mr. Nice in the PL.

Brann has been training with Swindon Supermarine this week with a view to a possible loan.
He'll be busy there this season.

I reckon by the time the window SLAMS shut we'll have seen three or four out and two in:

OUT

Wakeling - Loan
Youth/Brann - Dev Loan
Hutton and Khan - Sold

IN

Edwards - Perm 1+1 option
Debrah -   Perm 2+1 option

Poss Kemp/Young made perm too with 2+1 option

If any of the above apart from the dev loan & possibly Young on a permanent happen then I would be more than happy, along with the rest of the TEF to let it all hang out on a naturist break in Derbyshire.

Hoping that we can at least fill the last loan spot.

Flynn must be in or near South Yorkshire by now & possibly won't be able to unglue phone from ear for a few hours yet.

Wakeling out would be absolutely mental, regardless of perms for Kemp and Young. As DV says, status quo would be totally acceptable for me
