Marcus Bignot is the new ass man. He appears to have no hair at all.

"He has since held roles with a number of clubs, managing Grimsby Town, Chester, and Guiseley, and has most recently been assistant manager at Shrewsbury Town under Matt Taylor.

The 49-year-old has also held roles within the England youth set-up, coaching the under-18s before becoming assistant manager to the under-19s, working alongside former Plymouth Argyle boss Ian Foster, as they won the European Championship in 2022."

I saw Anthony Hall showing someone around Foundation Park last night. Didn't look like a footballer and had longish hair.

Callum Rice is back!!

Sounds thick as shit in the write up of his interview on the official site.

Gunning still hovering around. Sigh.

This is certainly some way short of beautiful prose:

"There's a real opportunity here to be successful and what that looks like is we are pulling in the same direction then we will have success which we ultimately finish next season with promotion, which we're really excited about as a project."

But hey, it's a cone collector that isn't Gunning. Although Gunning is still a coach. Let's hope it all goes well.

He's managed 473 games as a number one, so not short of experience. Some good, some bad.

I'd assumed the assistant would be a pick of Kennedy, but this comes across as a club appointment by Russell. Not helped by the article has a quote from Russell only. Hopefully they work well together. I think from memory Rob Hunt and Wellens were put together by us as opposed to arriving as a pair.

Looks to have had a lot of experiences in a variety of roles.

Could be useful for a relatively inexperienced manager.

Nope to quote "First-Team Pathways Coach".

Get that broom out Gunning and sweep the drive.
