Is Williams injured?
I thought he might be, but maybe he isn't. If he isn't I'd play him behind Austin that line up. It seems negative and Austin will probably have to run like fuck pretty isolated for 65 minutes and then be replaced, but I think its our best shot given all the injuries. |

..................................They dismantled us last season with ease at Brisbane Road 4-1 yet in the home game this term looked a decent side and a bit better than us at the time but nothing exceptional IMO in the 1-1 draw.
We ended up contesting it almost evenly for the last 1/4 - thanks to a gutsy performance and some luck - but Orient looked the pick of the teams I have seen at the CG this season. Strong but also footballing. Unsurprisingly for a Wellens side. I think we can get something, of course. We still have quality of our own - and spirit - but I'd be gobsmacked if our threadbare defence came away with a clean sheet. |

I'd need to scan through twitter to find it again, but someone posed a query about why we tore up McDonald's contract and allowed him to join Aberdeen for (what I assume is) nada. I've already mentioned that given how tight Sandro seems to be, letting an asset and your club captain tear up his 2 year deal and get nothing in return for him suggests something has happened. I wonder whether the true story will ever rear it's head. ADMIN: post edited for possible libel reasons. |
