I'd need to scan through twitter to find it again, but someone posed a query about why we tore up McDonald's contract and allowed him to join Aberdeen for (what I assume is) nada. I've already mentioned that given how tight Sandro seems to be, letting an asset and your club captain tear up his 2 year deal and get nothing in return for him suggests something has happened. I wonder whether the true story will ever rear it's head.
Probably the rearing of the head was the problem!

I don't think they know how many injuries we have as they seem a little nervous about this one.

I'm not gonna tell 'em!

No need, the comments are pretty much a mixed bag. Some have twigged (I had to go all the way to page 2 of 2 to find it Roll Eyes) and realise Town have next to zero experienced CBs available for selection.

I would say of the limited comments on their forum, they seem ''uncertain'' about the outcome of Saturday but still chipper that it wouldn't derail their season and auto hopes - in the main. It's possible then that maybe Town could spring a surprise (no, not of the alleged MacDonald variety). Possibly quite a nice one, like a daffodil opening before March; where we can all go skipping down the road, holding hands, wearing an Easter bonnet, and chewing a piece of corn  Cheesy

Pullman Utd 1 - 2 Moonraker Town (Sotiriou 65, Austin 15, Wakeling 72)
BTTB
Att: 9,112 (1,183)
46 Easter bonnets
17 Post Match 'like/as I said' from Morris
0 Ed Brand (but maybe in the stand, holding an earpiece in his hand - that'd be grand)
Elvis isn't dead

NB: Town's owner is in attendance though and post match he tricks Shawwwn Hodgetts by saying he's going to pull a rabbit out of a hat but it's really just a hand puppet that looks very much like SdM that Clem Formuni is wearing. He coyly chuckles 'bowing' his SdM puppet once again and saying 'gotcha cobbah', before jumping on the Elizabeth Line from Stratford to Heathrow T4  Wink

Have a glorious weekend fellas, favelas, finellas, everything in between and don't take too many things too seriously Cheesy

Which pub are people going to pre match?
Some good ones around Leytonstone area. Will hit up the Walnut Tree (spoons), the red lion and the birds as a minimum. Accompanied of course by messrs Wobbly Bob et al.  Pint

Pre match pondering the health benefits of a pint of East London Bloom over a Mason jar fermented kombucha in The Metropolitan  Bar.

So, an artisinal theme as we head to the mysterious Orient.
Will it be all street food trucks & single origin cold brew coffee. Probably not.
Matcha mille crepe cake? I don't think they are that bad.

Where do the indigenous population of East London go when the young urban creatives move in?
Mature, semi rural & somewhat prosaic is still ok isn't it?

Personal record at Leyton Orient is W2, D2, L4.
The sublime 3-1 win pre pandemic still remains as one the best away days in recent years.
From the ramshackle ground first visited in 1985 to the flats in the corners.
At least they can provide a distraction when the away team is being stuffed.
"We can see you washing up..."

Leyton survived the menace of the Zeppelins in WW1, but today we carry an equally deadly, albeit slow moving threat in attack.
Charlie only needs one opportunity & thrown in RHM as the wildcard then we might have a chance.
A heroic defensive effort required today but maybe the best form of defence should be attack.
Nowt to lose today after all.

My particular favourite game there was David Byrne's last game. Won 2-1 with a first minute belter from Lee Peacock and a pen from one of our best ever spot kickers
