Not got a great feeling about today. The initial high of SL’s departure was ruined by the age it took to announce the fact. This at the time the club should have been feeding the Austin hype train to the max.

Hopefully it goes well today. Need the points to stay in touch towards the top.

Question, is Austin likely at all to be match fit? Did he play much in Aus etc? Or would we expect 20 mins off the bench as a best case?

I too don't have a great feeling about today as you rightly state the initial joy of Lindsey leaving has been tarnished by the delays of his actual departure making it all feel flat.

Austin has been playing in Oz where he played 9 games and scored 4 goals for the 11 fixtures he was there for and was a starter in most of those games, he played the full 90 mins in 7 of the games and was subbed off in 2 after 70 mins.

I hear he is fully fit, as a 33 year old with a bad injury record can be, but I have a feeling he will be on the bench at the start and be used as an impact sub later in the game.

We need a win but if the new tactics employed by Gav and Mildy don't work then I wont hold them directly responsible as its a bit out of their hands anyway really, you cant change much in 1 week of being in charge temporarily. Gunning did suggest they were going to "try a few new things with the tactics" so hopefully it works.

Sacked from wales youth, thought he’d more be interested watching his lad play for oxford…

I doubt he fancied the trip to Fleetwood!
