Brown scored our winner at the weekend.

Quote from the MD:

“There is no option to stay at the Kassam Stadium, our lease has been terminated.

“That’s not our decision, that’s the stadium company’s decision and to be fair they’re working within the legal rights to do so.

“From 2026, we have nowhere to play.

“It’s not as if we’re in a situation where we’re looking to move grounds or redevelop a ground."

I hear Northampton are open to ground shares.

I don't want you to go bust. I want you to be perpetually shit and for as many of you to be as miserable as possible. That means staying in Oxford.

They will be ok if they get stuck they can ground share with their Thames Valley friends along the M4

Its what their Dad of a pedophile ring leader who ripped off the elderly former owner would have wanted.

This won't be a popular view, but I empathise massively with Oxford's position.  We have had very significant shit ownership/off field matters of our own to deal with over the years.  And while I want to beat OUFC soundly every time we meet them (which hasn't been much, lately), I'll wish them nothing but the best of luck in sorting out their own off field/ground issues.

They're a similar club to us with a similar fanbase...just 35 miles up the road.  We've so much more in common with the yellow lot than many would care to admit.

Thanks for providing the update, Goat.  Genuinely interesting.

You're right, that isn't a popular opinion with me.

Well, I'm Team Ardiles on this. Wish Oxford no success on the pitch but no misery off it (well, maybe a little bit. But not club threateningly bad). Only one league side I'd be happy to see go out of business and it's not them.

Yeah I wouldn't want to see them go out of business and I agree, there is one club that I would, but the reactions I saw to our issues were pretty much the same as mine, so they can go right to the brink with misery off the pitch as far as I'm concerned.

I have the same opinion, but I also think it needs an expiration date.

At some point the majority of their active support will be those that have only ever supported MK, for as long they can remember. As the time passes, their origin story will fade from being common knowledge etc.

Hard to wish harm on anyone’s lifelong club.

Not for me. They've got access to the internet and will know what their club is. Never forget.
