um, Germany are under pressure big time.

Japan will surely get 6 points.

Remind me, is it head to head that counts in group?

edit: nope. goal diff in world cup. Booo

Spain will probably beat Germany 4-0 on Sunday.

What is Vincent Kompany doing in Qatar as a pundit.
Has he given the Burnley players the month off? Are they not training or has he just got his coaches doing it?
Strange.

Not all managers take training to be fair. But you'd expect them to be there and observe.

In this day and age it’s probably all recorded.

Imagine the players will be having 1-2 weeks off and Kompany won't be there in Qatar for the whole tournament.

It was worth him being there just for his Ronaldo comment!

That's 4 0-0 then Smiley

Have to say I'm not that bothered by today, Brazil are worth a look I suppose Smiley But we've had some crackers so far that 'on paper' looked pointless - thanks Japan and Saudi - so who knows.

Very much looking forward to Sunday's Spain v Germany - OK, who isn't. Outside of Germany anyway.

Got a morbid curiosity on how Qatar will stand up v Senegal tomorrow too. And Wales v Iran. And there's some other team colony playing England. Tomorrow looks great to me.

Think this one could be a good game.

Two probably even matches teams both of whom might fancy themselves for second place in the group if they win.

A draw probably helps neither

Imagine if USA were to beat England that would potentially make the Wales game a must win.

It’s about time England beat the USA in the World Cup, haven’t managed it in the last two attempts
